...and a new quarter begins

Did you miss us while scarfing down your BIG PIEROGI during wigilia? Us too! Anyhow, let’s start this quarter and year off with some good ole’ polish time. Meet us in Asia’s apartment....

Wigilia is next!
10th week, Wednesday, November 30th!
SOUTH LOUNGE 8:30pm! 12 course meal including:
The menu will look something like this: mushroom soup, boiled potatoes (kartofle), pickled herring (sledzie), fried fish, pierogi, beans and sauerkraut (groch i kapusta), a dried fruit compote, babka, oplatek, assorted pastries, nuts and candies
Jolly Inn trip = success
Dan’s van drove us all the way to the Jolly Inn. Super fun!
Dan was so happy with the food! a little fight for the front seat of the van!

6th week event!
HEY EVERYONE! Our event is set! We are going to the Polish restaurant, Jolly Inn:http://www.jollyinn.com/restaurant_eng.asp . This will be a subsidized trip, and we will most likely leave campus together, in Danusz Stanek’s van, but depending on the amount of people going, we can arrange for other transportation as well. THIS EVENT WILL HAPPEN NEXT FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4th, at around 6 or...
POTLUCK SUCCESS
Potluck at Asia’s was super awesome. Kids from Northwestern, Iowa State, and even Uchicago (lol) showed. There was a lot of delicious food and other consumables (also lol). We look forward to seeing everyone again next time. Look out for an event 6th week — probably a trip to a Polish restaurant!

KIELBASA ON THE QUAD
What’s up POLLLESSSS… come get some free kielbasa in front of Cobb this Friday, October 7th, from 1-4pm!!!!!! It’s free, delicious, and one of our most famous traditions! YAY!
